Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all activities in the kitchen
- Oversee food production and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Create and develop new menu items
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute special events or promotions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts
