Summary
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
