This role is a multi-functional role. As well as working as part of the Yorkshire & NE regional team, leading on the delivery of integrated, safe, high quality and effective pharmacy services across the region. You will provide aspirational professional leadership for regional pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy assistants providing expert advice and guidance, promoting best practice in medication use on sites, embedding clinical supervision and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures and statutory frame works. You'll be responsible for the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service. As part of the Regional Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Head of Healthcare and the multidisciplinary team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the provision of service meets the contractual obligations. The role involves providing daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring that a safe but modern medicines management service is provided to prisoners.
