Summary
About The Role
At OCS Group, we are recruiting for Cleaning Supervisor who will supervise a team of cleaning staff, undertaking daily inspections of the site and ensuring staff are working productively and safely.
You will also:
- To ensure that the continuous improvement process is an integral part of service delivery.
- Manage equipment, materials and stock levels
- Take ownership of the staff rota and ensure all shifts are allocated. When not possible to cover all shifts, liaise
as required with cleaning agency company - Daily monitoring of the cleanliness standards within the centre and to ensure the team reactively respond to
any allocated tasks/duties - Control costs to ensure services are delivered within agreed budget
- Supervise quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained
- Always consider the work undertaken and wherever opportunities for improvements and working practices
exist, put forward suggestions so that "continuous improvement" is the norm. - To maintain excellent relationships with our client, suppliers and customers; maintaining excellent customer
service. - To support Line Manager with recruitment and retraining staff to deliver quality service in an efficient and
effective manner. - Ensure that all COSHH RA's and safety data sheets are compliant and up to date.
- Ensure that personal H&S competence and skill level is maintained i.e. attended Managing Safety
programme and other Company safety events
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry
- Strong people skills
- Cleaning experience 5 years
- Supervisory experience 2 years
- IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
- First Aid at Work (desirable)
