Job Description

Summary

I am looking for a PA/ Carer / Nurse to assist with caring for a severely mentally and physically disabled young female who requires continuous 1-1 care. I am looking for a 2 x new people to each work 2-3 days per week, to join my existing team of carers. You need to be very outgoing and bubbly, sociable, have a sense of humor, not be afraid to sing songs and nursery rhymes out loud, be reliable, conscientious, and able to work on own initiative, but also able to follow procedures accurately. The job involves driving and supporting her at her day center and general care and support whilst she is at home.

Able to both follow instructions accurately and work on own initiative
Strong Hygienic ethics, tidy minded and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills



Employee Duties:

My daughter is severely mentally and physically disabled and requires continuous support. She is very sociable and generally happy but is also extremely vulnerable. She has a mind of her own with a sense of mischievousness. She functions at around 18months mental age so if you imagine an 18month old in a 35yr old’s body this gives you a good picture.


Additional requirements

Must have a UK driving license
Must have access to/own 4 door vehicle.
Non smoker
