The Role
As an NDT Technician you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll work as part of the successor project and be integral in maintaining the integrity of the components.

Day to day, you'll carry out NDT in accordance with SNT-TC-1A compliant NDT programme, magnetic particle inspection of welds and machined components, liquid penetration inspection and ultrasonic inspection in accordance with approved procedures and techniques.

  • Magnetic particle inspection of components
  • Liquid Penetrant inspection of components
  • Ultrasonic inspection of components
  • Update and communicate inspection metrics in line with day-to-day activities

This role is full time on site based in Rosyth.

Experience Required for the NDT Technician

  • Proven knowledge of the practices and standards associated with the NDT
  • Ability to read and understand technical standards and drawings
  • Ability to analyse problems and identify practical solutions
  • High level of attention to detail

Qualifications Required for the NDT Technician

  • As a minimum hold PCN Level II in MT, PT, UT (3.1, 3.2, 3.8, 3.9)
  • VT and RT PCN Level 2 preferrable
  • Ideally previous experience working in the nuclear industry

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
