Summary

Operations Support Manager

We have a great opportunity for an Operations Manager to help support in the successful running of our Elmbridge Borough Council parking enforcement contract. You will report directly into the Account Director and will, through your team leaders, have responsibility for the civil enforcement team of 40, who deliver high levels of customer service every day. This is a great role in a unique and evolving industry, our managers are instrumental in the ongoing success of our business.

You will be involved with maintaining and developing relationships with our client and be the primary contact for any issues. Additionally, you will make sure that the Civil Enforcement Officers are performing to maximal efficiency whilst adhering to strict health and safety and compliance procedures.

What you'll be doing

  • Making sure that all our colleagues are managed consistently and fairly, and they are fully trained
  • Deal with payroll queries with the support of the admin team
  • Being the primary point of contact for our client
  • Producing and providing MI and reports
  • Support with disciplinary and grievance hearings
  • Manage, plan, and co-ordinate the work of your team leaders
  • You will monitor and shape operational KPI's.
  • Dealing with all written customer enquiries and complaints
  • Prepare the monthly enforcement plan and to monitor the success of those on-going on a daily basis
  • To assist in developing Quality Assurance systems and procedures in the service area
  • Cost control of consumables items
  • Control of vehicle costs and maintenance through process management and telematics

About you

  • Excellent level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Operational management skills
  • Organised and self-motivated
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
