About Us:
As a Company we endeavour to ensure the conservation, preservation and restoration of historic buildings in Cornwall. Specialising in all aspects of Cob, Stone and Lime Applications we use traditional building techniques to maintain our historic-built environment, including Historic England Listed Buildings.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
- All aspects of historic building restoration, working towards learning traditional building techniques such as Lime Pointing, Lime Plastering/Rendering, Cob Repairs/Rebuilds, etc
- General Site Duties
- Maintaining Company Health & Safety and National Legislation
- Working as part of a team to ensue works are completed on schedule and to the best of your ability
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent time keeping/punctuality
- Polite and friendly to Clients, Co-workers and the general public
- Smart, clean and tidy appearance
- Takes pride in all you do
- Trustworthiness
- Willingness to learn
There is the opportunity to progress from Labourer/Trainee to Supervisor for the right applicant, and this can be a speedy process for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals.
You will be working throughout Cornwall and transport will be provided from the Company Unit to Site, and return.
Full training, Personal Protective Equipment and Uniform will be provided (Applicant to supply own Steel Toe Boots).
