The development of staff at Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service is vital to the delivery of our aspirational Leadership Message and vision to be the best Fire & Rescue Service in the UK.

Development initiatives such as our High Potential Programme, Coaching, Mentoring and flexible learner led Professional Development Programmes compliment a wide variety of learning activities for our staff.



The Role

We’re looking to add to our team of Organisational Development professionals to support the development of a positive and inclusive service culture. This exciting role will support the continued improvement of established development initiatives and be part of a team introducing innovative and engaging talent management and development activities.



The role requires individuals to exercise a creative flair to effectively implement new development and culture change initiatives. Your interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders will be key to your success in role.
