Summary
Order any required tests Arrange patient reviews Provide a phlebotomy service where needed Undertake routine diagnostic tasks such as: ECGs, Blood Pressure checks, routine heights, weights and urinalysis Use patient contacts as opportunities to promote health education, including education on practice systems such as obtaining a blood results Provide and support patients with interventions around lifestyle changes Ensure patients are followed up if they do not attend appointments . Act at all times with regard to the confidentiality and sensitivity of issues to do with patients, their care and treatment. Record and document all patient contact.
