Summary


The post holder is a key member of the Transformation Team at LNWH and will lead on embedding the principles of continuous improvement, patient safety and clinical effectiveness in practice across all our sites. The role supports us put Quality at our HEART.

The post holder will lead and actively seek opportunities for accurate and appropriate clinical coding using Cerner EPR system and work with key stakeholders across all specialties across all sites to promote the uptake and delivery of such projects.The poster holder will address the variability in best practice adoption of outpatient and procedure coding, including full activity capture and appropriate OPCS usage.



The post holder will be required to support the transformation team to roll out improvement capability across all LNWH sites and to facilitate the integration of these methods into everyday practice in order to provide excellent care as standard.

You must have proven experience in leading and delivering several improvement projects simultaneously and related to coding accuracy using Cerner. The postholder will be expected to provide, training and coaching for Transformation team members, trust staff and our stakeholders. You will assist in leading the development and implementation of improvement methodologies to be adopted across the Trust and ensure that the right training and support is in place to allow for these methodologies to be effectivelydeployed.
1. Support improved outpatient and procedure coding accuracy, conducting deep dives and process reviews with services, and agreeing interventions including training, process changes, etc to ensure accurate coding capture and reporting
2. Spread good practise across our organisation, sharing improvements and ideas across our organisation
3. Ensure effective governance and benefits realisation across all coding accuracy projects undertaken across the organisation
4. Support improvements in dashboards and visibility to sustain improvements
