We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible.Hours of work: 21.5hours per week plus an additional 5 hours per week for lunchtime duty.
This post will involve: Supporting the class teacher in creating an effective learning environment for the children.Working with individuals on a one-to-one basis and small groups of pupils. Planning, teaching and assessing (with teacher support) a small phonics and interventions group.To support groups of a range of abilities under the direction of the class teacher Working as part of a team. Implementing school policies eg; behaviour, marking, safeguarding etc. Having high expectations of yourself, children and their learning. Attending relevant training and professional development opportunities. Building positive relationships with the children and colleagues within the school and community.
