Summary
Recognised pharmacy technician qualification (e.g. BTEC National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences, NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services). Detailed evidence of appropriate continuing professional development (CPD). Have an interest in oncology and haematology. Able to cope under pressure and in a busy / stressful environment Exposure to potentially infective conditions, e.g. diarrhoea and vomiting. Dealing with constant interruptions from other healthcare professionals and patients. Proficient in the use of chemocare, infoflex, IHCS and the trusts electronic prescribing systems, and be able to assist colleagues who need assistance.
