Summary
STEM Recruitment Solutions have an exciting opportunity available for an experience electronics production operative in a quality inspection role. Our client, based in Dunfermline, have an opening for someone new to join there well established work force.
The role is as follows:
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough inspections on components, sub-assemblies, and finished products using various tools.
• Ensure compliance with quality control procedures at all production stages.
• Document defects and collaborate on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records for process improvement.
• Manage equipment calibration for precision.
• Investigate quality issues and contribute to improvement projects.
• Assist in creating and updating quality control documentation.
• Train staff on inspection methods.
• Communicate findings clearly to teams.
• Undertake additional tasks as required.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing inspection.
• Understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
• Proficiency with inspection tools.
• Detail-oriented with technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC610).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Self-motivated with manufacturing experience preferred.
This role would suit someone with electronics experience who is keen to move in to a more quality focused role.
