Being a Support Worker with Discovery is more than just a job, it's an opportunity! We believe that good support means to 'do with, and not for'. Your role will be to provide support for people to do all of the things that each day in life entails, from maintaining relationships with family and friends, managing personal finances, participating in hobbies and so much more.

We are recruiting for support workers to join our small team at Geen house in the centre of Bridgwater.

We support the people that live at Geen House to be a part of their own life by actively supporting them to develop living skills and have choice and control over their own day. As a Support Worker with us your role will be an exciting and varied one.
You'll be supporting the people we support to enjoy a broad range of activities such as getting out and about in the community, attending shows, going out for walks, taking part in hydrotherapy sessions and going on Holidays.
You will be supporting people to keep in touch with both friends and family and maintain those important relationships. You will be facilitating therapeutic physical exercises and engage in stimulating activities and will also work closely in partnership with various health professionals to ensure that the people we support lead a healthy life.

We are open to full-time and part-time colleagues joining us!

- Flexible shift patterns to suit your needs

- 30 days paid Annual Leave (including public holidays - pro rata)
