Description
We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Children’s Centre Administrator (SO1). In this role, you will provide integral administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our children’s center. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for working with children. Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks of the children’s center, including scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and updating databases
Coordinate and oversee the registration process for children enrolling in programs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is collected and maintained
Assist in the planning and organization of events and activities for children, including arranging transportation, coordinating volunteers, and preparing materials
Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement administrative procedures and policies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the children’s center
Communicate with parents and guardians regarding program information, policies, and procedures, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction
Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff and volunteers, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
Assist in the preparation and management of the children’s center budget, monitoring expenditure and reporting any discrepancies
Requirements
A minimum of [2 years of relevant experience], preferably in a similar administrative role within a children’s center or educational setting
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with children, parents, staff, and external stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software and systems
Knowledge of regulations and guidelines pertaining to children’s services, including safeguarding policies and procedures
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data management
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision
A positive and compassionate attitude, with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development and well-being

Pay Per Hour: £22.48
