Summary

We are seeking to appoint 4 LGV Drivers to join the Environmental Services Division.



The successful candidate will be required to drive a range of vehicles within Environmental Services to aid with the collection of domestic waste, recycling, garden waste, food waste and on occasion the collection of trade waste as service demands dictate. You would carry out daily vehicle checks and be responsible for the service being provided, allocating and communicating tasks to other team members. You would also be required to maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.



Ability to work in refuse/recycling or a waste related field is essential, as is experience of effectively manoeuvring LGV vehicles in confined spaces. You would also be required to have a Cat C LGV Driving Licence and a current Drivers CPC Card.



Domestic waste and recycling collections are carried out over four days (Tuesday to Friday) working 74 hours over a 2-week period, starting at 7:00am, with occasional Mondays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
