Summary

Playground Design & Sales Consultant | Scarisbrick, Ormskirk | Full-time – 35 hours per week | £25,000-£30,000 dependent on experience

Our client is seeking a Playground Design & Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company dedicated to designing and handcrafting high-quality, sustainable outdoor learning resources and equipment.

You will lead design projects from conception to completion. You'll have the opportunity to visit schools and nurseries, gaining insights into their playground needs and creating captivating 3D visualisation designs.

Your role will involve developing engaging proposals, calculating design costings, and liaising with external suppliers.

Flexibility to contribute to other areas of the business as needed is essential.

• Possess proficiency in 3D CAD Software (e.g., Sketch Up) and Microsoft packages
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Bring self-motivation, enthusiasm, and creativity to the role
• Have excellent communication skills and can interact effectively
• Exhibit strong customer service skills and can represent the company externally
• Ability to manage own workload and work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Are willing to travel occasionally and undertake overnight stays as required
• Are willing to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to the nature of the business

What will your role look like?

As a Playground Design & Sales Consultant, you will:

• Lead design projects from conception to completion
• Conduct visits to schools and nurseries to understand their playground needs
• Create captivating 3D visualisation designs that comply with safety standards
• Develop engaging proposals to present designs to schools and nurseries
• Calculate design costings and liaise with external suppliers
• Demonstrate flexibility to contribute to other areas of the business as needed
