Summary

Following a restructure, our IT team are looking for a Head of IT Service Delivery.
The post holder will be part of a senior IT management team and will help create a new IT strategy, a Target Operating Model aligned to the needs of teaching and learning and will lead on improving IT engagement across all four campuses.
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, the ability to ‘get stuck in’ when necessary and possess a real desire to improve services and solutions to teaching and learning. This is a great opportunity to shape a service delivery function by introducing new ITIL / ITSM processes along with Agile ways of working.
You will be helping to create an IT strategy for the College Group, creating and reporting on KPI’s for your team and ensuring a new service desk system and relevant ITIL processes are implemented. You will work to develop your team and ensure that they have the skills and knowledge to successfully contribute to the IT strategy. You will be part of the IT senior team working on technology and process maturity plans, you will lead the delivery of key projects. You will also design and deliver a new business engagement strategy, taking the lead in meeting with business colleagues to improve IT service delivery.
An in-depth knowledge of college systems is not required but you should have the skills and ability to build, motivate and support the service delivery team. This is a great opportunity for someone to make their mark in IT service delivery and to help define and deliver a new IT strategy for the college.
