Summary

Part Time Cleaners 7.5 hours each per week 39 weeks per year Permanent Pay Scale SCP2 FTE £22,366 pro rata
Lydeard St Lawrence is a very small village school at the heart of the community. We are seeking to appoint a small team of permanent cleaners to join our small staff team and work with us to keep our school clean and healthy for our delightful pupils.
We are looking to appoint an additional permanent cleaner to start on or before the 7TH June 2024. Key Responsibilities: • Perform daily cleaning tasks to meet the standards set by the Head Teacher. • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of designated areas within the school premises. • Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to achieve optimal results. • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the Head Teacher. • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for all occupants. • Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules. • Flexibility to work either in the early morning or evening, based on the assigned shift. Qualifications and Skills: • Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members. • Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and the proper use of cleaning products and equipment. • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
