Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, highly motivated, hardworking individual to join a friendly and dedicated team. The job role is varied and requires individuals who can adapt well, manage all duties effectively and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will need to be reliable, flexible, and hard-working with excellent communication and IT skills. Delivery of deadlines is key to this role; you will be expected to work as a team member and also as an individual using your own initiative

Act as first point of contact on behalf of the consultant and the Trust and deal effectively and courteously with all enquiries from GPs, patients, other departments within the Trust and all other departments.

To ensure a smooth process and compliance to 18-week RTT.

Daily validation of 18-week RTT PTL, new and follow up PTL and diagnostic PTL’s.

Make and request appointments as appropriate, in line with government and local targets. Where this is not achievable, give notification promptly to line manager.

Transcribe from audio, copy type, edit all clinical letters and other correspondence as required by the consultant and team, ensuring layout, spelling, grammar and punctuation is consistent.
