Summary
Wildfire Engagement Officer
Mottram in Longdendale, Greater Manchester
£24,702 to £25,979 per annum
The Role
We are looking for a Wildfire Engagement Officer to help us work in partnership with United Utilities, engaging with visitors and stakeholders around visitor enjoyment and behaviours and wildfire risk.
The post holder will be required to work 1 in 2 weekends and bank holidays as well as evenings up to 8pm in high fire risk periods.
The post is fixed term until 31 October 2024.
About You
You will need to be able to:
- Communicate effectively with the public and a range of stakeholders
- Have conflict awareness experience
- Have fell and moorland navigation experience
