Part-Time Domestic Assistant (Evening shift)

15 or 20 hours per week

The shift pattern requires five shifts to be worked per week and may include weekend working.

The posts detailed above are based at Mount Vernon Hospital which is based in Northwood.

Our Facilities department provide a range of vital support services across the Hospital including cleaning, portering and housekeeping 24/7. We are now recruiting domestic assistants to join our friendly and professional team at Mount Vernon Hospital.

Job summary

To provide a domestic cleaning service to remove dust, dirt, debris, liquid to prevent the spread of infection, preserve the life of the building, fabric and furnishings whilst providing a clinical and/or socially acceptable hospital environment which includes wards, departments and public areas.

Our domestic team take pride in ensuring all areas of the hospital meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all patient, visitor and staff areas. For these positions it is desirable to have previous cleaning experience but not essential, we can provide full training. You will however need to have:
• good communication skills both written and verbal
• be able to demonstrate good customer service skills
