Summary
Job Summary/Functions
1. Playing of drums and other instruments at Regular Services (Sunday Services, Midweek Services, Prayer Meetings, and all Church Occasional Services)
2. Training and instructing our growing number of Young Adults to play drums relevant to the African and Pentecostal Christian style of Music
3. Co-planning church music festivals and concerts with the church music director
4. Assisting in setting up of church instruments and sound organisation for every church programs.
Education, Skills, & Attributes
Applicant must possess the following skills:
• Minimum of Secondary School Education
• A strong personal Christian faith.
• A good knowledge of Drumming
• Strong musical abilities, including proficiency in playing at least two instruments
• Knowledge of various musical styles, including traditional hymns, African songs, and contemporary worship music
• Ability to teach some musical instruments to kids and volunteers
• Effective communication skill
• A practical and flexible approach to work
• A commitment and ability to work with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
