Summary
1. To assist the Lead Clinician in providing a comprehensive scientific service (analytical and interpretative) by the Department to nationally accepted standards. 2. To deliver a broad range of complex, specialised and non-routine scientific work requiring skilled performance with a high level of individual responsibility. 3. To provide clinical and scientific advice to clinicians regarding biochemical investigations and their interpretation. 4. To deputise for the Lead Clinician as required. 5. To undertake research and development projects. 6. To plan clinical service provision.
