Summary
Manda International Logistics Ltd is recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager to support and lead logistics operations within the UK. We seek someone experienced and used to working in a fast-paced logistics and supply chain management environment.
The duties and responsibilities will also include:
- Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers
- Planning and overseeing incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Overseeing logistics, warehouse and transport services
- Planning and analysing budgets and expenditures
- Resolving complaints and issues regarding the supply chain
- Maintaining customer service logs and safety records
- Management and supervision of staff within the booking in / distribution team and Drivers.
- Ensure the timely dispatch of items to customers and suppliers.
- Oversee Driver schedules and route plans for efficient and timely transit of goods. - Management and coordination of Max Optra system for routing.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience with online booking systems (eg Datascope)
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to organise, manage and lead a team of individuals
- Numerically strong and computer literate
- Relationship-building skills for internal and external partners.
- Proficient in MS packages.
Qualifications
UK or equivalent undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
Previous experience of supervision of site logistics role preferable
