Your new company
Our client is amulti-academy trust with schools across Greater Manchester. They are lookingfor a finance and payroll assistant to support to Finance and Payroll teams.
Your new role
You will be responsible for:
- All aspects ofaccounts payable
- Posting credit cardtransactions
- Making payments tosuppliers.
- Posting all banktransactions and producing monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in thedepartmental budget monitoring reports
- Responsiblefor the entry of timesheets and expenses
- Checkingand validation of all timesheets, then submission into the payroll
- To supportthe Payroll and Pensions Manager in validating in running and checkingpayroll/payslips
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
- Educatedto at least A level or equivalent qualification
- GCSE Mathsand English at Grades 9 - 4 or equivalent
- Minimum of3 years' experience working within finance and accounting, with specificexperience in purchase order processing and accounts payable
- Experienceof processing transactional payroll data and checking payroll output
- Desirable:Experience of working in a school or multi academy trust finance environment
