My client, who are a family run business, have ambitious plans to grow the company and are looking to add a Projects and Installations Manager to the Senior Management Team, to head up the Playgrounds Department. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will manage the design, construction, installation and maintenance of a number of Play Area projects in conjunction with Local Authority Partners, Education Providers and new Homes Developers.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Projects and Installations Manager:

• Handling initial enquiries, arranging and attending Client Site Visits/Surveys
• Managing the project to ensure that it stays on budget and is completed within the allotted time frame
• Ensuring the client remains fully updated throughout the project
• Overseeing the recruitment and development of your team
• Supporting the directors to grow the department and wider business

Required Skills and Qualifications of the Projects and Installation Manager:

• Experience of working on similar projects would be advantageous, but finding the right person is more important
• First class communication skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and other third party stakeholders/contractors
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
• The desire and ability to help grow the division and wider business through proactive business development and networking
