Summary

We are currently looking for talented and motivated Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Mission Critical team in Cambridge as part of a multi-disciplinary department delivering a wide range of projects in the UK and overseas. This role can be worked flexibly with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times.

What does the role involve?

Sweco has an award winning portfolio of UK and international projects, demonstrating a broad range of experience in delivering leading-edge, sustainable civil and structural engineering consultancy services. Our ethos is based on close working relationships with like-minded clients and design professionals.

As a Graduate Civil Engineer you'll work closely with experienced engineers along with colleagues in other disciplines from across the wider business in the UK and Ireland to deliver projects by:

Assisting with the development of outline and detailed designs and specifications for civil and structural engineering works.
Providing day to day technical input as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
Ensuring your design output is completed in accordance with the agreed scope of works, timescales and budgets.
Working in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines as required to deliver project requirements and added value to the Client.

You will learn from experienced people who share a passion for working together with our customers to deliver technical excellence and as you develop be given opportunity to work more independently.

To be successful in this role you will be:

A talented, motivated, enthusiastic Civil or Structural Engineering graduate who has already gained some experience in a similar role. You'll have a desire to be part of the answer to the growing concerns about how we manage our precious resources and protect the environment in a sustainable and effective way.
