An opportunity has arisen within London North West Healthcare NHS Trust for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Estates department as a Band 4 Multi-skilled Crafts Person (Carpenter).

An opportunity has arisen within London North West Healthcare NHS Trust for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Estates department as a Band 4 Multi-skilled Crafts Person (Carpenter).

You'll be required to oversee repairs as well undertake planned and unplanned maintenance. The role also involves the installation of all plant and equipment associated within the hospital premises. The aim of the department is to develop a fully flexible workforce and as such you will be expected to undertake tasks of other trades where reasonable and safe for you to do so.

To be considered for shortlisting you must have a National Qualifications Framework level 3 (ie ONC/BTEC/C&G TEC or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline, have completed a structured training program in engineering i.e. a recognised and registered apprenticeship, and have post training experience. Additionally a full driving licence is required.



Successful applicant will require good communication and customer care skills to work with various levels of staff across the organisation and be expected to carry out all duties in an efficient and effective manner with minimum supervision.
