Summary
Diversity Housing provides property services to Our TLC Care company which specialises in supporting people with mental health conditions to support them with independent living.
This position will be full time 37.5 hours per week. It is essential that you are a driver with your own vehicle. The position involves the cleaning of all the communal areas of properties on a daily basis and keeping all walkways clean and tidy free of any litter or obstructions for 22 (3 & 4 bedroom) properties across the Bradford area.
Duties will include:
• Communal Lounges – Clean all surfaces, skirting boards, radiators, cleaning doors and sanitising door handles, windows, hoover carpet and hard floors and mop hard floors
• Communal Dinning rooms – Clean all surfaces, skirting boards, radiators, doors, windows, hoover carpet and hard floors and mop hard floors
• Communal Kitchen – Clean all surfaces, kitchen doors, cooker top and oven, fridge freezer, windows, hoover hard floors and mop hard floors
• Communal Bathrooms – Clean sink, bath, shower, toilet, doors, skirting boards, mirrors and hoover and mop
• Emptying all communal bins and wash bins out
• Communal Corridors – clean skirting boards and doors, Cleaning hand rails and balustrade and hoover corridors and steps and hoover and mop hard floors.
• Dusting at high and low level
• Litter picking
• Outdoor Bin area cleaning and sweeping
• Cleaning new decorated rooms and end-of-tenancies.
The successful candidate will have a good work ethic and attention to detail as well as be able to interact with other people in a friendly and courteous way. While the position is not supervised on a day-to-day basis the work results are subject to ongoing inspection and audit. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, and apart from a vehicle cleaning chemicals and equipment will be provided and mileage will be paid for driving between properties. Because this position will interact with vulnerable adults a DBS check will be required.
This position reports to the Housing Manager.
