Summary

Fixed for 2 Years

To provide effective, efficient, responsive and high quality highway maintenance service in highways. To work in a professional manner and portray a positive image of the council in the workplace.

Highways operative is required to assist in undertaking various tasks within the Highways Operations Workforce, under the posts remit. You will be experienced and qualified in undertaking various tasks of Highway work and undertaking these works efficiently and safely with regards to H&S requirements.

Assist in supporting and adding value where possible to the wider highway’s objectives.

To contribute to the achievement of the objectives and performance targets as set out in the highways Business Plan.

All new applicants are required to complete a 10 hour online Welsh Work Course. You will need to complete parts 1 and 2 of the course and must be able to evidence this prior to starting work with the Authority.
