Summary
We are expanding our spinal service; this job is for a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics with a special interest in Spinal surgery. The job is a full-time post comprising of 10 Programmed Activities (PAs). Supporting activities 1.5 PA Direct clinical activities (including on-call) 8.5 PA Further peripheral outpatient and other clinical sessions may be arranged later. A flexible arrangement of consultant timetables will allow appropriate responses to the development of new contracts including the provision of additional operating time. The appointment will be subject to the terms and conditions of the new Consultant Contract. The final job plan will be agreed between the successful applicant and the Chief of Service.
