Summary
Austen Allen Homecare is a well-established, award-winning provider specialising in care at home and support services. We are now looking to recruit a Community Care Supervisor to join our team in Dartford.
Our ideal candidate will have a high level of flexibility, as this role entails a blend of office-based and community work, including availability for care calls as needed, which may occur during evenings and weekends.
Requirements:
+ Full UK Driving licence and own your vehicle.
+ Having a Level 3 in Health and Social care would be an advantage.
+ Flexibility to complete care work in the community.
Duties Include but are not restricted to:
+ Assisting in creating and maintaining Care Plans and Risk Assessments when required.
+ Liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
+ Carrying out routine spot checks and supervisions on care staff.
+ Good flexibility to cover care calls where necessary.
+ Ensuring the safe provision of medication.
+ Assisting with the out-of-hours on-call phone (Pro rota basis)
+ Supporting Care staff in the community.
Ideal skills and qualifications:
+ Previous experience in mental capacity assessments
+ Administration and I.T. skills
+ Strong communication skills
+ Strong documentation skills
