Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated,
enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice, who can work closely within a growing team.
You should possess great communication skills and have a calm, approachable
nature.
During your apprenticeship you will be required
to;


Contribute
a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for
children placed in the Setting

Give support to other personnel within the Setting;

Implement
the daily routine in the base room.

To contribute to the children's care needs
To provide a safe, stimulating environment
To provide continuity of care
To provide high quality care
To make sure the children enjoy and achieve
Help the children to learn, develop and grow

Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Little Stars Childcare will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)This will be delivered through Little Stars Childcare's dedicated training provider, Realise.
Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.


Qualifications required

L2 if working towards L3 or the willingness to attend a 6 week skills bootcamp programme
Basic Maths and English - desirable

Skills required

Enthusiasm for working with young children
Good organisational, record keeping and planning skills
An interest in the care, learning and development of young children
A commitment to the provision of high quality childcare
A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities



Prospects
Progression to a qualified position
