We're excited to bring to the market a further opportunity for the role of International Underwriting Assistant, joining our highly respected Real Estate Speciality team. We’re experiencing an exciting period of growth in both the UK and International markets, and are investing in our workforce of the future, ensuring we’re there to service our global clients to a market leading standard.
The portfolio is varied with highly sought-after clients, spanning both UK and International Programmes, amassing an impressive gross premium, charting AXA as one of the biggest Real Estate portfolios. AXA are one of the lead insurers for Real Estate clients, working with specialist brokers and a team that are well respected in the industry, having built a strong reputation, of which we take great pride.
We're seeking an individual with a thorough understanding of the Property underwriting market and a desire to work within the London and International markets, with a focus on specialist Real Estate brokers and global clients. Working within the underwriting team, you’ll be required to manage the end-to-end process of servicing our broker partners and clients. You’ll ensure all administrative activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, to the highest quality. The role will allow for full engagement across the Real Estate function, liaising with underwriting, finance, credit control, claims and global offices.
If you thrive on being pushed out of your comfort zone and being empowered to make decisions, this could be the ideal role for you!
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you'll be doing:

Help AXA achieve our long-term ambitions to combine technical excellence with innovate client solutions
Deliver on financial targets through profitable underwriting of risks and developing partnerships with our key brokers
Ensure that AXA’s Service Standards are met and, if possible, exceeded in the implementation of UK and International Programmes

Work closely with Underwriters of all levels to deliver agreed client service standards
Ensure that all handled programmes are implemented to agreed service standards and corporate guidelines
Support AXA’s business development and client relationship activities
Assist with ongoing Projects that are identified throughout the year for better improvement to the AXA servicing model
