Summary
•provide personal care and support to residents with a wide range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities
• know and understand the care and support of each resident you are supporting
• undertake the tasks detailed in the resident’s care and support plan using a person-centred approach and in the least intrusive way
• assist residents getting up in the morning and going to bed at night
• assist residents to wash, bath and shower
• assist residents to dress and undress
• assist residents to look after their skin, teeth, hair, and nails
• assist residents with toileting, continence management and personal hygiene
