Summary
Adamson Automotive are a family owned, independent Land Rover repair centre based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, UK.
We are currently looking to hire an experienced mechanic/technician to join our growing business.
The ideal candidate must be honest and hardworking, with good timekeeping and communication skills (written & verbal). Working as part of a small team is essential, as is the ability to work under own cognisance.
As a technician in the workshop you will undertake services, repairs, part replacements and rebuilds of a variety of Landrover models. Experience in this area is essential.
To apply for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Have completed a NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent NVQ, BTEC or City & Guilds qualifications.
Experience of working in a fast paced, workshop environment.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have dedication to maintaining product, brand and industry knowledge.
Full UK Driving license. (Essential)
Experience of Land Rover vehicles would be an advantage.
General summary of duties (to include and not be limited to):
Brakes, Clutches, Cam Belts, Engine Repairs, Suspension Repairs, Services, Diagnostics and more.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience but meets national standards
