Summary

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Delivery Manager with expertise in Cloud Computing and Data Centre technologies to join our team. This role requires a strong background in project management, cloud architecture, and data centre operations. The Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of cloud and data centre projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Project Planning and Execution:
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of cloud computing and data centre projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
2 Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable and resilient cloud and data centre solutions.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, security protocols, and best practices.
3 Stakeholder Management:
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and expectations.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project milestones and deliverables.
• Address stakeholder concerns and provide regular project status updates.
4 Team Management:
• Build and lead cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
5 Quality Assurance and Delivery:
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and issues proactively.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure deliverables meet technical specifications and client expectations.
• Implement effective project governance and change management processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in technical project management within the cloud computing or data centre industry.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data centre technologies (e.g., virtualization, storage, networking).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Additional Information:
• This is a full-time position with flexibility in location (remote or UK-based).
• Travel to client sites or project locations may be required occasionally.
Salary - £50 – 60k
