Your duties as the Classics Teacher include:
• Craft engaging lesson plans that bring ancient texts and civilisations to life
• Instil a passion for inquiry and critical thinking through discussions and activities
• Foster a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and express their ideas
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students as they navigate the complexities of classical literature, history, and culture
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and enhance the educational experience
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Classics, Ancient History, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Greek and Roman literature, history, and culture
• Experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably at secondary level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for cultivating a diverse and inclusive learning community
