Your new company
Well established and a leader in their specialist field, this brand has a long track record of innovation and success, which provides a strong foundation for the international growth that they are now enjoying.
Your new role
In this role you will lead and further develop their Production function, ensuring the team (approx 15-20 people across Production and Packing) are supported and motivated. You will oversee workers, equipment, and planning to ensure targets are met, and support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
You may already be proven at Production Manager level, or be a successful Production Shift Manager who is looking for a chance to progress. Either way, your CV will demonstrate relevant responsibilities and achievements. You will understand MRP and BOMs, and be comfortable planning the manufacturing schedule to optimise output, and planning resources to suit requirements. You will ideally have experience of Continuous Improvement or other Lean activities that deliver efficiencies, and you will be comfortable assessing current processes, and designing improvements in collaboration with other stakeholders.
Strong candidates are encouraged to apply from any manufacturing sector. Experience in manufacturing chemicals or liquids is an advantage, or any similar industry (eg Food & Drink / Pharmaceutical manufacturing) where ingredients are combined, and H&S and Quality Control are maintained at the highest standards. You will be a confident communicator, able to use reports and data to support your ideas and proposals.
What you'll get in return
Competitive salary circa £45k plus benefits, and an opportunity to join a stable and fast-growing business during an exciting time in their development.
Please note this is Monday to Friday onsite.
All candidates must already hold right to work in the UK.
