Job Opportunity: Planner (Civils - Structures)

Are you a seasoned planner with a passion for civil engineering projects? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our clients team in Banbury and play a pivotal role in a large-scale civil structures project.


Location: Banbury, UK

We are currently working with a leading civil engineering firm dedicated to delivering innovative infrastructure solutions and specialise in large-scale projects that shape communities and drive progress.

Role Overview:
As a Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the scheduling of activities related to civil engineering structures. This role will involve working closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful planning and execution of their flagship project in Banbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify critical path activities and potential risks.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates on schedule performance.
  • Analyse resource requirements and optimise resource allocation for efficient project execution.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex scheduling problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
