Summary

The post holders time will be spent in leadership, clinical and health service innovation, and partnership working. The main focus will be initiatives that drive towards the overall strategic innovation goals of the trust. There will be opportunities for the post holder to develop an initiative aimed at clinical staff to build an active community of engaged clinical and non-clinical innovators who can access a range of resources to support them and seamlessly network with a broad cross section of other innovators from across the Trust. This fellowship aims to develop those with strong leadership potential to flourish in future roles. The clinical leadership fellow role is an important and vital role supporting the full function of CITI and its aims and ambitions in cultivating and catalysing an innovation and transformative culture within our clinical teams. The fellow works closely with the clinical directorates providing that bridge to connect, develop and co-create in the innovation and improvement areas, but also provides high level expertise and experience to enhance and compliment the delivery and innovation teams within CITI. The fellow role acts as an expert in residence for CITI, but also works with the clinical teams in piloting innovative practice and products. The fellow role will need to be able to interact, engage and evaluate conversations and interactions with industry, stakeholders, entrepreneurs and innovators, and therefore will need some experience in this field. The main duties of this role include but not limited to: Content curation, planning and research into network engagement events and marketing Strategy writing supporting the Trust's clinical groups ambitions to deliver excellence in healthcare and innovation Partnership creation - working alongside the Head of Industry Partners to deliver against the strategic industry partnership pipeline supporting with evaluation and engagement. This job description reflects core activities of a post at a particular time. The trust expects that all staff will recognise this and adopt a flexible approach to work. All staff are expected to contribute to the smooth running of their clinical service as required; in particular, to comply with the policies and procedures, Standing Orders and Financial Regulations of the trust. The post holder will report directly and work alongside Alexandra Carey, Head of Industry Partnerships, and Dr Nadine Hachach Haram - Director of Innovation, and Strategic Industry Partnerships.
