Summary

A Vacancy at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.


We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to support our outpatients team with Hysteroscopy in our gynaecology outpatients department and to act as Matron for the gynaecology outpatient nursing team .

This role will be split between clinical service provision and managerial support to a small team of nurses . The Nurse specialist will work closely with the Gynaecology Consultants and Service Mangers to facilitate the smooth running of this outpatient service .

Provide and promote clinical excellence in the care of gynaecological patients, unsupervised, by using specialist knowledge and skills for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care.

Provide the appropriate level of intervention either as direct or indirect care, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, including the provision of outpatient hysteroscopy/ colposcopy clinics .

Assist the Head of Midwifery and Lead for Gynaecology Outpatients by Providing direct line management to a team of nurses and collaborating with the wider outpatient gynaecology management team .
