Are you an experienced Transport Administrator looking for a new opportunity that comes with a great range of benefits?

Reporting to the Depot Transport Manager, this role will require a strong individual able to drive and deliver results in a very fast-paced environment, with the ability to execute delivery of the daily plans. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

The Transport Administrator will be expected to comply and support all legal legislation in regard to fleet operations including good control of defect management, dispatch, and delivery process.

You will also need to be able to manage good communications and build strong relationships with both suppliers and drivers. A large part of the daily activities will include managing and improving driver behaviours, infringements, and vehicle efficiencies.

**Process Management**


* Clearly engage with drivers and ensure they complete their daily activities.
* Issue keys and other assets in line with our legal obligations.
* Report breakdowns and follow-up response times.
* Take ownership of the day-to-day workplan in-line with transport KPIs and co-ordinate and plan
* Ensure all other work declarations, RTWs, and infringements have been communicated with drivers and successfully signed off.
* Daily checks to ensure all drivers receive a licence check and PPE.
* Communicate all stored briefs and any special requirements to drivers.
* Undertake infringement discussions with drivers.
* Report all vehicle defects and escalate any damage-related defects to the transport manager.
* Control and check all agency work declarations and that agency paperwork is completed.

**Health and Safety**


* Comply with all health, safety, and environment policies and other relevant regulations, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of any incidents, accidents, or near misses.
* Liaise with the Safety, Health, and Environment Executive on a day-to-day basis to ensure any areas of concern are managed and resolved within the depot.

**Mail Integrity and Security**

Ensure that all staff comply the mail integrity requirements including CRB checks and ID cards.

**Essential Skills**


* Previous experience in a Transport Supervisor or similar role
* Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
* Able to make clear and clinical decisions based on data and factual evidence in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
