Summary

Gi Group are looking for a Saw Operator for our client in Mansfield specialising in distribution pipelines. The role consists of working on a saw cutting metal, as well as general labouring. The location is easily accessible from surrounding areas via public transport, and is just a short walk from Mansfield bus station.

This role consists of Saw Operator duties as well as labouring duties.

Shift pattern: 7:45am - 4:15pm Monday - Friday
Overtime available paid at time and a half!

Pay rate: £12.00 - £12.50 per hour dependent on experience

Saw Operator duties include:
- Measuring and cutting metals to size
- Using computers to keep track of deliveries and shipments
- General labouring work around the warehouse
- Keeping workplace safe and tidy

The successful Saw Operator:
- Must have experience with a band saw - cutting metal in particular
- Must be physically fit and happy to do some heavy lifting
- Must be able to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative
- Keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Must have basic IT knowledge
