Summary

Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic and supportive educational environment? If so, we invite you to join our dedicated team as our Interim Head of School!

Job Description: As the Interim Head of School at our SEND school located in Birmingham, you'll provide strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the continued success and development of our school community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing strong and visionary leadership to inspire and motivate staff, students, and families, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, including budget management, resource allocation, and staffing.
• Implementing effective policies and procedures to promote the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students with SEND.
• Building positive relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, governing bodies, and community partners.
• Collaborating with the wider school team to drive continuous improvement and innovation in teaching and learning practices.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding standards, prioritizing the welfare and safety of all members of the school community.

• Proven experience in senior leadership roles within the education sector, preferably in a SEND setting, demonstrating a track record of driving positive outcomes for students.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving long-term goals and objectives.
• Resilience and adaptability to navigate challenges and uncertainties, maintaining a solutions-focused approach.
• A commitment to promoting inclusivity, equality, and diversity, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
