We are looking to recruit a Trainee IT Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the IT Support Engineer within the IT department and learn to provide first line technical support and guidance to staff within the company.

Main Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and guidance to staff
Monitor and maintain all company PCs including assisting with repairs/breakdowns as necessary
Install and configure hardware and software updates on PCs and laptops
Audit and log all company PCs, laptops and software licences
Be responsible for the updating of the company website with a view to improving SEO
Assist with the telephone system, including fixed and mobile devices
Complete and update company documentation as required
Assist with providing support for the company IT system/servers
Keep IT area tidy, observing company 5S policy
Learn to work to ISO9001 quality standards
In addition, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Manager from time to time.

Qualifications required:
GCSE Grade 4-9 English & Maths
A Levels or Level 3 IT qualification

Experience required:
No experience required, however, the candidate needs to display a passion for IT and technology

Good time management (desirable)
