Summary


An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Maternity Support Worker to join Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Hospital - Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital, West London and St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington

As part of the role you will be expected to complete the ‘Fundamental Care Certificate’ Programme, if you haven’t already done so. This Programme will aim to ensure you are competent and confident in delivering care within the scope of your role. You will be expected to work effectively within the midwifery and multi-disciplinary team and collaborate and communicate effectively in the clinical area.

As part of this role you will undertake in-house training and development whilst mentoring junior staff new to the department. • To assist and support the registered midwife/nurse, under supervision, with the delivery of direct patient care, with the needs of the women and baby at the centre of care delivery
