Bridgwater Town Council is a progressive employer looking for an Events and Outreach Manager on a 2-year fixed term contract basis to be responsible for managing the Animating Bridgwater small events grant, supporting cultural partners, and delivering a series of ambitious commissions within Bridgwater in order to deliver the strategic aims of the Bridgwater Town Deal which are to animate the town by maximising community potential and to re-energise the Town Centre.

Areas of day-to-day responsibility include, commissioning and overseeing the delivery of events or installations and develop others alongside Town Deal officers and delivery partners, to work as facilitator through networking and cultivating new and existing event organisers as appropriate, in order to co-create a coherent and varied programme of events and outreach activities which will not only celebrate Bridgwater’s existing culture, but also develop new cultural offerings that will redefine the town.
